Kate Paxton wakes up in a fortified warehouse…and she’s not alone. She’s accompanied by three strangers: Rowan, the gearhead; Magdalene, the B&E specialist; and Grayson, the old school grifter.
It doesn’t take long to figure out that they are all experts in their trade—they’re thieves— abducted to plan the ultimate heist. But who abducted them? All they know is the “think tank” is a duplicate of the actual security measures protecting a vault containing a priceless haul, the secret diamond collection of John D. Rockefeller.
The group discovers there’s no way to escape, and the warehouse is rigged with explosives and a bomb set to detonate should anyone attempt a break-out, and it’s counting down a deadline of six hours for them to succeed.
At first, the group struggles to determine if they can trust one another. Despite suspicions, Kate convinces the others they have to work together. If they can make it to the vault room they can disarm the bomb and—more importantly—they can do what they do best: plan the impossible…and escape.
After a failed break-out attempt by Grayson, the group discovers they have all been abducted by a cunning criminal, Theo, someone with whom each of our thieves has a personal history. The goal is not just to break out, but to beat Theo to the elaborate diamond heist they have been so meticulously planning. To achieve that, they’ll need A Perfect Plan.
